A brand film normally means an agency, and an agency means a day rate, a crew and a schedule that belongs to somebody else. A gym, a salon or a studio cannot buy that, so most of them never get a film made at all.

The conversation comes first and it decides what the film is actually about. Then the shoot, the edit, the color, the motion graphics. It ends up sounding like the person who runs the business, because that is who it was made with.
The grade
An hour at the desk pushing colour around, cut down. The grade is the pass that decides whether a film reads as expensive or cheap, and it is one of the five jobs credited below.
